So what’s a Paleonutter?

IMG_8362Well it means quite a few things to us.

The most popular meaning for the word ‘nutter’ is someone who is mad or their behaviour is strange.

People who follow Paleo are often made out to be weirdos by the media and painted as if we are a strange cult, slowly brainwashing people into eating real food…

Weird because we eat natural unprocessed food as near to the farm as possible….

Weird because we believe in the ethical treatment of our planet and it’s animals.

Weird because we love to cook and share recipes.

Nutter also refers to a ‘nut gatherer’ – quite apt we thought.

It also means ‘fanatic’. I guess we are fanatic about health, feeling well and about good nutrition, so it all kind of fits.

And we love our nuts. And our nut butters.

We’re also happy to admit we are a bit crazy and want you all to have childlike fun when you’re exercising, cooking, gardening and shopping.

We just don’t care if the rest of the world thinks we’re all nutters.

Welcome to our world.

Paleonutter world.

We think you’re going to like it.

  1. “Thanks for sharing your info. I really appreciate your efforts and I will_ be waiting for your further write ups thank you once again.”

  2. What an amazing journey you’ve had, congrats!!!! My story is along the same general lines, fatigue, even though I’m being treated with a natural desiccated thyroid replacement, EXTREME pain in my joints, which all the doctors want to do is put me on meds and do surgery, no thanks!
I’m an active 58 year old woman, who never sits still, partly due to the anxiousness I get from the pain, and besides, if I sit too long, the pain is WORSE 😢
I’ve tried everything as far as diets go, the Adkins diet which restricts carbs has the best results, I would LOVE to have your advice on where to start & reset my life, and be able to do it on a budget of $45~$50 per week…
I look forward to hearing from you…Deb

    • Hi Debbie,

Thanks for reaching out. Atkins is very similar to Paleo. Basically we cut out all wheat, grains, legumes, dairy, all processed foods and sugar. Whilst it would be impossible for us to individually address all the inquiries we get, I would thoroughly recommend you enrol with Pete Evans ten week program (TWP) which is on his The PaleoWay website. It takes you step by step through the whole process and is what we did to reset our bodies. It’s quite simply the best supported program out there with recipes, videos, features from eminent scientists and doctors. Good luck!

      • Thank~you so much, heading to the website ASAP!
I’ll stay in touch with you & let you know how my progress is going…..

    • Haha! Hi Dan. Yes we’ve had a massive show of interest in them, can’t believe it really. They’re made from recycled organic cotton from old garments that is respun and then mixed with fibres made from old plastic bottles! Really soft and thick fabric. Because of the interest I’m currently waiting for the manufacturers to come back to me for a wholesale price and I have a printing company on standby. We only had a few one offs down for our show so we’re trig to get the price down. I’ll put it all up everywhere when they’re available.
